A don't forget the hot tip for new teak/new varnish---thin the first two coats by 20--30 percent so that they penetrate well. Then full strength coats 'til your bored to tears............

BTW, our '84 Perkins 6 cylinder is real close to 6,000 hrs and runs perfect. As of last week at least--(knock on Delo)..........

3) They get pissed if you dingy to the beach, especially with a motor on the back. Surfboardsand kayaks seem to be fine...

Currents (as they are) are generally not an issue. About the opposite of Fundy. But I do recall a day a while back at Two Harbors where the kids were all jumping off the boat from the spinny halyard....
