Vacation in Traverse Bay ???

Grand Traverse Bay has some great sailing. I''d suggest:
-staying at least a night in Suttons Bay
-staying at least a night in Northport
-anchoring for an evening or two at Power Island...

C & C 29 (year 1977)

Any opinions on the C & C 29. The one I am looking at was built in 1977 and is diesel powered. I plan on coastal cruising in Florida and maybe out to the Bahamas. Eventually, I plan on taking it up...

Looking at an Ericson 28+ (year 1981). Can''t seem to find much info on Ericsons, anybody have experience with this model or Ericsons in general?
