Re: Review of my season on Georgian Bay

Once you go to the North Channel you will not want to leave. Georgian Bay doesn't compare to it at all. There are so many more anchorages and beautiful spots in the NC. Leave early in the morning,...

Re: Post Survey Cost Estimates

Awahl, congrats on the near purchase. What I can recommend is to ask other Endeavour owners if they have similar issues or any issues that are a concern. Do as much research as possible on that year...

Re: Latts & Atts is GONE!

Xort you are so right and what you said is exactly the truth. Anybody who is getting into the publishing business today is going to lose his shirt. When I received the email from Bob and Jody about...

Re: Should I try to clean my own sails

What size is your boat? I cleaned my sails on a 26' that I had, they were dirty and had rust marks on them. I filled up my tub with water and some clorox and let the sails soak one at a time for a...

Re: Survey found corrosion in mast

Catalina 30's are a dime a dozen...find one that doesn't have major issues. Run away from this one quickly. You'll be dumping money into this boat right away and you're sure to find other hidden...

Re: Older Boat Insurance

Most insurance companies will want a survey/estimate on classic cars as well, it's not just boats. But yes you are right, they don't require anything but pictures for a house or a new car...it is...

Re: Waste Marine loses my business

Televisions last 20 years or more and only offer 1-3 years warranty....vehicles the same thing. Your anger is at the VHF radio not working and shouldn't be directed to the store that sold it to you....

Re: Survey by previous surveyor

Depends on who did the last survey. Is he competent? does he have good credentials, client referals and so forth. The last surveyor might have been a dud or he might have been really good....same...

Re: Help me decide on a name

Naming your boat is like getting a tatoo...it has to mean something to you. You don't just pick one out of a book. I really don't understand why you would ask a forum to name your boat and also none...

Re: 1973 Grampian 26' -- Opinions & Questions
