Florida uo the Mississippi

Te Boat is a Sloop Rig 25 ft, with Aux Outboard..
Now as I see it, there is no real reason why it would not make it, its 25 ft
Im just wanting to know its anyones done it
Or what is currents ect...

As you know the rain around the harbor here has been bad at times. Noticed a higher tide today, more than normal.

It comes to me now. Its Riveria Marina...They had the fire that got office and one of the Docks. More like a working mans Marina/Workyard and highly cluttered.
Sunline had a whole story of it....

We went over there to a Friends House off of Lemon Bay. we picked them up dockside and went to Talisman Marina Res.

Unless one considers Punta Gorda Sailing Club. {private membership}
Or Punta Gorda Isles Marina {private}
There are 6 marinas right in Charlotte...

Fishermans Village is on the Punta Gorda side.
I had a boat there untill last year.
Expect high dock fees. and tourists abound
walking the docks

With Mast antenna it does ok while coastal.
Just the standard internet hookup.

Living here on the Gulf and a Full time Sailor, I would not advise a Gulf crossing in a Mac26 at all. The boats are totally unstable in heavy seas of which the Gulf Crossing is bad for. Water Ballast...
