Re: Rudder Post Access Hatch

Attached is an image from our PSC 34 showing two round access hatches under the helmsman's seat. I am able to fit my hands through, but you can't see very well. I'm not sure if this was standard or...

We have a Max Prop on our PSC 34 and it too makes that noise when shifting from forward to reverse.

Re: leak from rudder stock

We have replaced the hose clamps and it was not easy to reach, but I guess you could replace the packing in the stuffing box without hauling you boat. Have you asked the PSC factor?

Keith,
Your table looks good. We have one on Pegasus, our PSC 34 and certainly enjoy it. Let me know if you find a "disco ball" that works...

Re: New Generation Anchor on the 37

Dale,
I have a 35 lb Manson on the bow of my PSC 34. I think the bow setup is similar to yours. I drilled a hole through the anchor to hold it in place with a 1/2 inch pin that was already there,...

Re: Yanmar 3gm raw water pump

Al, you may already have the Speedseal, because it has knurled bolt heads. Mine has four bolts and a brass cover. You have to remove two bolts, and just loosen the other two and the cover slides off.

Re: Yanmar 3gm raw water pump

I have found the only way to change the impeller is to just remove the pump. As I recall there are only a couple of bolts to remove the pump, but I don't remove the hoses. To make the change even...

Re: Anyone with Manson Supreme?

We have a 35 lb. Manson Supreme on the bow roller of our PSC 34 (similar to Rain Dog's), but we drilled a 1/2" hole so we could use a pin to keep it in place. Sorry, I don't have any photos, but...

Re: Crealock 37 Wheel to Tiller Conversion

Marc,
A little off the subject, but I see on your web site that you recently converted to internal halyards on Crazy Fish. I plan to do the same next month, how did the conversion go? Any details...

Re: Conversion to Internal Halyards

Brian,
Did you ever convert to internal halyards? If so I'm wondering how it worked out for you? Since the mast is down for winter storage, this would be an ideal time to complete the conversion....
