That windvane will be worthless once the apparent wind comes further aft than about 70-80 degrees, the air vane will start banging into that arch... ;-)

They could spec in a much better windvane,...

If one wanted one to increase the strength factor of a given wire size would going to 302/304 be too much of an increase for the factors...
