I've used Renogy products for years (on the hard), never had any problem. I've never used them in a salt-water environment, though, I doubt that they are "marine" products.

I have a furling boom, it's a huge PITA unless you have 3 hands and there's no wind. Not to mention the lousy sail shape. I'm getting a new main next year with proper reef points.`

Is there a reason you need to store it in the garage? I have a Macgregor 25 that I store in my driveway. It's about the right size for a day sail for four people. I wouldn't want to sleep 4 on it...
