We also went from our beloved PSC37 to a V42 - just for a bit more interior volume and systems access. Pluses and minuses on both, but we're happy we went to the V42.

Our Porty Suki approves. We were on a can earlier this week in Monroe Harbor, Chicago. Here's a pic of our V42-186 s/v Little Wing, last hull laid up by the factory. Sad they're not making them...

Mitch - I'm no expert on Whistler's, but if you look at the first picture, it appears the jib sheets ("jib lines") come down to the outboard cleats midships and not to any cleats on the centerline...

The aft end of the mainsheet goes thru the block on the traveller line and then back up and ties to the aft end of the boom. (see pic above).

Looks like the block on the traveller runs...
