Cruising Abaco in winter.

I would suggest the Exumas or south in the winter. North of Nassau can be cool and sometimes cold.

Have a 30 foot Bayfield sloop and do the Bahamas-Abacos and down to the Exumas. I have good experience sailing, well equipped boat with radar, gps, life raft, dingy, epirb, etc. age 61, easy going....

I have an iridium phone that I connect to my laptop and can pull down the NOAA weather info quite easily. Voice transmission is very good. Just like a normal phone.
