Thank you! This is exactly what I needed someone to say. Hard to spend 500$ on paint when that's all you paid for the boat. HA HA Looking forward to getting it on the water.

I wish!! It has 40 years of dings and a few past attempts at fiberglass repair by a previous owner that will need to be painted over. Thank you!

This may be a dumb question... I am restoring a 17ft MacGregor Venture. It needs to be repainted. Marine paint is much more expensive than automotive paint. Any thoughts? I don't leave the boat...

Thank you Donna, I went to the MacGregor owners website and a guy was parting out a Venture 17. He is going to mail the parts. You saved me a bunch of time and $$.. Really appreciate your help!

I have a 17ft MacGregor Venture. It didn't come with a rudder. I have been looking on line and at salvage yards. The deal is I refuse to pay more for the rudder than the boat. I am faily handy......
