I installed the shaft today. We had the trans out and the stuffing box out and was able to get the shaft in with about 1/4" clearance.

Well we went with the 99. The seller dropped the price, most of what is wrong is cosmetic, and we just plain loved that boat.

The owner of the 95 did not want to negotiate and 99 did.

Thank you, we do have Nav/wind/depth/radar/speed on the boat and quite possibly they are all connected. We have had the boat for 6 months and have a lot to learn.

We have a Raymarine speed knot meter on our boat that reads in boat speed and SOG. My question is how is the transducer (without paddles) able to do both? Or is it also connected to GPS for SOG.
