a 2GM raw water cooled motor, will have zincs in engine.
My 3GM raw water cooled motor has 2 zincs on starboard (fuel
filter/dip stick) side and 1 in back.

for number of years and only now making a purpose built bridle
which is looking promising to use for lifting dinghy on deck also...

If your hull is solid glass you can silicone in hull.
Have mine in place for years. Just make sure it is reading
and has no air/voids and stays in place until cured.

mmm...always brought great comfort to me knowing that
system was protected by corrosion inhibiting anti freeze
rather than left dry and subject to rusting when exposed to air.
