The marina near my Ft Myers home charges $8-$10/foot per month plus tax. They have metered electric at the slip.

The marina where I keep my boat in RI charges $4K for the season (May - November)...

it won't be as simple as installing a T connector. You could easily blow the AIS receiver. If you only want a receiver, go with the SH GX2150.

IIRC the Vesper unit interfaces to NMEA0183 and N2K. it also has a display.

I suggest that the GI is more important than the charger. Also, I would not consider a used charger. YMMV

The oil pan from Kubota is modified by adding a 90 degree barb (I believe that it is a 3/8") to where the plug goes, and by brazing a dip stick fitting to the right side of the pan.

I have also used my cordless hammer drill, in conjunction with the torque setting, and heat from a torch to free uncooperative stainless screws.

While these are a great tool to have, and relatively cheap, they will not help you with removing an already buggered screw.

I believe recline has it right. More than likely that the stereo memory is wired (either at the battery, or the switch) to the other battery circuit.
