In re your thoughts on repowering; it you're going offshore, go with a diesel. Gas turns to varnish, but diesel will last a year or two before you need to worry about it.

We dropped anchor in Emerald Cove this trip. It was soooo calm there that I wanted to stay, but the wife wanted to try for another lobster, so we pulled up and went back to the Isthmus.

Where are you headed? We managed to drop anchor in a few of the coves while there. Caught a lobster, too! That's in one of the later videos in this series.

True... We have not had to reef on this boat before, so we decided it best not to crawl around on the deck in 8-10 foot seas at night.
