Can anyone explain how to repair profurl rigid vang. I cannot figure how to even open it. It is rivert closed at both ends. There is one plastic part that looks as if it might unscrew but not sure....

Can you explain how you repaired the rigid vang. I can't figure out how to even open it. It has rivers on both ends? Help!!!!.. Thanks....
