I have taken my 10' cat rigged boat out quite a few times and I am not sure if I am jibing correctly. What I was doing was pulling the boom sheet in all the way before I jibed, then ease the rudder...

I understand now. Now I know why the traveler is used which I had not thought about before. My traveler is not adjustable so I might have to look into this at some time. I hear what you are saying...
