AIS problem

We have a Raymarine C120 chartplotter with a Garmin 300 AIS receiver connected using NMEA 0183.

There are 3 devices on the curcuit - one lamp and two 12V sockets. They are wired as parallelle. This secures same voltage to all 3 devices and that a breakdown of one device will not have any effect...

I have identified a polarity error In the wiring to first 12V socket In the circuit.

No voltage at the socket of the "old" outlet. There must be voltage on the wirering in on the
"old" in otherwise there would not be 13,5V on the new socket.

Is there a risk of blowing 12V...

Problem has solved. When the engine was allowed to cool for a night coolant was sucked from the subtank to the top of the mouth of the heat exchanger.

The seawater strainer placed above sealevel and on the highest point on the seawater system on our Yanmar 3gm30f is empty when the engine is not running.
