the prop needs to be adjusted or more likely changed. all you need to do until then is not shove the stick over so far. if you only request 1600...

compression testing, the way you do it on a petrol engine, does not work on diesels. It is likely to give you more questions than answers...having said that ...you got the same result from each...

Did you check your air side yet ? clearly your engine can not burn all the fuel that is being delivered, thats why you have black smoke....this can be too much fuel....it can also mean not enough...
