Anticipate the winds in Gardners bay to be blowing harder than at Montauk and in the sound. If you have a smart phone get the bouy data app and ship finder. Takes the mystery out of whats ahead.

We switched to a larger Delta from a CQR on the previous boat. Any time it blew over 25 we started dragging. Never had this problem before.
Loose the DELTA. If the Mantus won't fit...

We have a lenovo yoga tablet 10. Wife loves it. We use MX Mariner app. Doesn't need wifi to navigate. Incredible battery life. Recharge w/ usb adapter to 12v. Was about $200

I had an aft facing forward hatch on our previous cs. IMO ventilation at anchor was poor. I turned it around and airflow improved quite a bit. My hatches or ports are NEVER open underway.

Check the pencil zinc in the heat exchanger! I had a piece of the zinc block the elbow for to out flow at a less than convenient time.

Your assuming the mob will have the ability to climb up. Don't plan on it. Check Life Sling. You'll need to rig a block and tackle to a halyard.

Either the impeller is bad, could look ok but spun on hub, or there is a blockage up stream from the impeller. On a raw water engine this could be scale. Try back flushing the engine w/ a hose.

Atlantic Coastal Welding. speedytanks.com in new jersey made a replacement for out 36t. They had the dimensions and shipped to me in about a week. Think it was around $600.
