Re: Anchor chain for PS 37

We have 200 feet of 3/8" high test (G4) on our 34. Lots of miles. No problem. We carried 240 feet for six years but found we never got into the last 40 feet, so we got rid of it.

Re: Rear oil seal

Hopefully, you can borrow the wrench. There is a webpage with a good picture of a wrench a guy made for the nut. It is obviously not as strong as the tool from Yanmar, which is really heavy...

Re: Rear oil seal

The special wrench is part number 177099-09010. It's not cheap. Since I posted, I remembered that the O-ring was missing when the guy pulled the seal and he didn't see the purpose for it so...

Re: PSC With Tillers, where's your compass?

We attached ours to the sliding hatch cover. It also reads depth. It detaches from it's mount to stow below to prevent theft. I have also seen a compass attached to an arch built over the hatchway,...

Re: After dismasting...

I carry the same 24" bolt cutters that I used to re-rig with in the port cockpit locker. I can snip through our 9/32 wire in seconds. The 24" model does take a little muscle. If you can afford to...

Re: Removing Hot Water Heater

Hi there!

I'm sorry I made it sound like such a big job on our website. It was a a bit of a PIA because we had to figure everything out for the first time. Actually, it's pretty straight forward. ...
