We have been very happy after 5 years of cruising with Crypton Ultrasuede. We used it for slip covers inside but I would do cushions with it in a heartbeat.

I haven't heard of anyone losing them except from debris. I'm sure it is possible but unless the install is really shoddy, or you get hit by a bad arse hurricane, probably not worth worrying a lot...

Not sure I understand your question but you can get the Nadi fleet code (as code or as text) via saildocs if that helps. We use the opencpn plug in to view the fleet code.

If it it too dry, wood can shrink causing tabbing (structural or furniture) to crack away from the wood or the hull. Just a visual inspection item.
