Did you follow the procedure for pairing the trnsmitters and readout?

Register the products with Ray, you get an extra year of warranty.

Re: Annual Long Island Sound Vacation

Dave, if your club has reciprocity with the Manhasset Bay YC, I recommend stopping there for a nice lunch. Stopped on our way back from Newport after the A2N race. Guest moorings are red and...

Re: Anyone buy laminate sails from China Sails?

The "cloth" is Club Race MXL, Gold Kevlar, Black Twaron, Mylar outer skins. Not cutting edge stuff, but it will certainly hold its shape longer than dacron.

Question Anyone buy laminate sails from China Sails?

Starting to look for a new main. Got a great price quote on a laminate sail, but know nothing about the quality of the laminate sails they make.
Anyone have any experience?

Re: Off the shelf bimini

I bought a bimini from them for my Pearson 28 about 5 years ago. Tubing was a little light, but more than adequate for the size of the boat. If Jim Wilson is still here on SN, ask him how it is...

Re: Cracks on deck? C&C

small cracks in the gelcoat are common. More cosmetic than anything to worry about. Learn on a smaller boat. 34 feet is plenty big!

Re: Tesla's new power cell for houses

If all you do is run off the battery during the day when electric prices are high and recharge at night when they are low you may eventually pay for the unit. Add solar to recharge them and you...

A socket wrench with extension will prevent the short as long as you don't drop it.

Thanks Maine, for solid advice once again!

Re: 1/4" line in a 3/8" rope clutch?

I agree with overbored. A 50% difference in diameter is too much. Buy proper clutches or put covers on the small lines where the clutch hits them.
