Re: Pros and cons of steel sailboats

Re: What Is A Boat Really Worth?

Julie, please do not let the ones who seem to think you need to rush to spend thousands of dollars of YOUR money to purchase a boat before you know enough about it to make a good decision influence...

Re: Transport of boat over land

While it is true that every carrier in the USA must have both license from the ICC and be insured for both liability and cargo damage, having the license and insurance is not all that is needed. In...

Re: Yanmar 2qm15 smoking in gear

Black smoke is an indication of fuel that is not being burned, it can be from poorly maintained injectors, a fuel pump that is not timed right, or a restricted air flow. I would say that what may be...

Re: M25 what is this and where does the hose go?

The little unit there is your breather element for the valve cover. It should have a hose that attaches to the elbow and runs down through a small bracket. If I remember correctly it does not attach...

Re: The future of the sailing world. Why are there so few young people cruising??

Young guys like you and harborless are okay in my book. You may have a lot to learn in some areas, but I do too, and I hope I never cease to learn. The one thing that it seems you have learned is not...

Re: Initial Offer Question

I have always worked through a broker who helped me make a very good offer. I usually offer about 25% less than what I want to pay, I do not want to pay any more than I have to, and I do my best to...
