Re: understand 12v electrical

My understanding is it should only be 5% to 10% off new. But I suppose if you take off 10% for new and another 10% because you never get the full rating that could be the 20 or so present I am...

Re: understand 12v electrical

You make sum good points. The test you suggest is basically what the battery monitor is doing from my understanding. But I se how what you suggest would be more accurate as it is not estimating. I...

Re: understand 12v electrical

So I reduce the amp hours entered in the battery monitor from 232 to 209. This cause the charged to jump 10% from 75% to 85%. So it is looking like my new 6 volts may not be putting out the amp...

Re: understand 12v electrical

Re: understand 12v electrical

I will have to check the brand but they were 2 6 volt from a local rv dealer. Going to do the Specific Gravity test tomorrow. I am wondering if it is my battery monitor as 12.7 volts is full isn't it?

Re: m25 alternator question

You reminded me and pointed out the problem. I set up the battery monitor and celebrated it with the battery's at 80% and the manual tells me I have to celebrate at 100%. So I assume that is why my...

Re: M25 what is this and where does the hose go?

that is what I was thinking of doing. Simple and I wont be dripping oil on the engine that is then burning off like now. A lot simpler than tapping a hole in the air box also.

Re: M25 what is this and where does the hose go?

You point me in the proper direction with the proper name. Google helped after that.

Earlier M25 engines had the crankcase breather tubes simply directed down below the engine. Later engines...

Re: M25 what is this and where does the hose go?

I have noticed a few pictures online of a tube going from that spot to the air intake so crankcase breather sounds correct. From the pictures online it looks like the c34 that mostly have m25xp go...
