Re: Spirit 28 owners?

Oh great...Had not really paid attention to them before, but after visiting Glastron Spirit 28 Sailboat - Spirit28 Home Page (http://spirit28.com) I now really want one :S. Thanks a lot. I have a 23...

Re: Spirit 23 modifications

I epoxied the cap of the bilge pump to the hull of mine. Now I can pop the pump on and off anytime I want. I do like Windyway's idea of the tray much better as it allows for backups. I eventually...

Re: sailing with dolphins

Awesome! Thanks for posting the video.

Two summers ago I had a pod of small white (or grey?) whales swim around my boat for a couple weeks. It was really neat. No video though :(.

Anyone else...

Re: Still Looking for Spirit 23 Window Frames

Bummer man. I may need to look at replacing mine soonish too. The last owner caulked all over the edges. No leaks yet, but worried about what that means. Sails and rigging first though.....

Re: Removing Centerboard in Winter

I did a similar thing with mine. The cable was not working properly after it was on the hard for painting so I put a strap around it before tossing the boat on the trailer. Worked fine

Re: spirit 23 sailing to marone point ,la.

I normally use my 130%. I love it. Is your Genoa inside or outside the lifelines with the block back? I have only been able to keep it inside mine when sailing close to the wind

Re: spirit 23 sailing to marone point ,la.

Gorgeous!

Your Genoa does the same things with the lifelines that mine does. I am welding a new connection point to the bottom of the pedestal so that I can clip the lifelines lower and utilize...

Re: Spirit 23 modifications

Not sure I would even trust the wood.

Though I am the one with the trailer that does not even allow the boat to touch the front rollers :S

Let us know how it works

Re: Spirit 23 modifications

Oh wow! Your new setup looks much scarier to me! Put some thick rubber pads on that thing or your hull will probably be even worse damaged

Re: Spirit 23 modifications

Your traveller is over the transom? Why did you chose to do it that way? I have been watching the local shows for a traveller for my Spirit and I am currently planning on mounting it above the cabin,...

Re: Still Looking for Spirit 23 Window Frames

They truly are. I really wanted that Spirit that was on eBay a couple days ago. I fought hard not to click bid, but alas I have no place for it right now :(

Take pics of the frame install process....

Re: Spirit 23 Swing Keel Cable Mod Dwg

Oh sorry, a buddy did it when I was not there. Should not be too hard to figure out though. Pull the hose off the center board slot, stick a pencil through and measure from the pencil.

Mine is...

Re: Galley pictures

It does, but when I have tried to move the galley it seems to be stuck in one place. I cannot feel anything behind it either. Are they all supposed to be like yours?
