Have a look at the marinas in Bradenton or on the Manatee River. Less expensive, more protected and Bradenton is a great town. And it's close to Sarasota. Chuck

Not much in Sarasota other than Marina Jack and SaraBay. We're currently at Marina Jacks.

We were at Longboat Key Moorings marina for 2 months. The marina is very expensive, but you can lease...

I stayed at this marina once. It's a world away from the hustle and bustle of Marina Jack. You will need to check the depths of the canal on the approach. I was in a power boat at the time and only...
