It appear as though the company that provides our Chat feature recently updated their software and now one of their modules is being 'mis-classified' by Norton/Symantec and possible containing a virus. Until they have this resolved we have de-activaed chat. We've opened a support incident with Envolve and they will hopefully have this corrected soon.

Good point but I wonder how much would be saved after paying the V.A.T (Tax) in the EU and also the cost of getting the boat CE marked for use in the EU

You would be hard pushed to find lead keels in new boats in Europe these days, in fact i thought the yearly rust grinding was a tradition :)

I think what you are reffering to is what we in uk call a 'Spray Hood' an absoloute must here, dogers are fitted to guard rails each side.

I have an Oceanis 381, loads of space, forecabin with ensuite and two stern double cabins,dont be put off by inmast furling, cant comment on AC as we sail in the uk so just open a port:D:D

I cant comment on the areas you plan to sail in but a 311 would be a good choice, I think beneteau used the 311 keel design for their Figaro raceing boats.
