Re: Anyone every buy bigger or new and regret it?

Re: Because it's funny after the fact

I did that once with a Chrysler 16. Fortunately, my boat was still on the trailer in the ramp when I saw the water. Just pulled out and let it drain, then put in plug.

Re: Humbled

Sailing a sunfish can be a hoot! When you get a good feel for it, try sailing standing up! One foot port, one starboard... Strong wind...15 kts...I used to shift my weight and put the port rail in...

Just a thought...if you haven't settled on a boat yet.....

Re: Matti tuck inlet

Check the thread, Headed for LI Sound and Beyond, posted by Chef 2 Sail. It's on today's posts about 3 pages in. There is a detailed report from a local sailor concerning Mattituck inlet.

Re: Learning Boat: San Juan 21 vs Catalina 22 vs ???

Denise... I hear you loud and clear. With my boat, the over the transom ritual is even worse. My mainsheet traveller is a 1" bar attached between my double back stays and it's only a few inches above...

Re: Learning Boat: San Juan 21 vs Catalina 22 vs ???

Hi Aarond.... Welcome to the world of sailing.... You will love it. I definitely agree with others that if you are looking to trailer sail, a 22 is not the way to go, unless you are traveling and...

Re: Tohatsu 4,5,6 HP Tiller Lock Fix
