The bottom of your tank could look like this picture.
At least pump it out as best you can and then try some volatile thinners as Jeff suggests (lacquer thinner, acetone).

P30s came with monel fuel tanks that will outlive us all. Don't replace it. You can't remove it without pulling the A4. That's a fairly...
