have your crutches point the mast up to the rear. In most cases if people were to run into you they would be under the mast... and if they did...

I agree and I think that happens in the back, in the cuddy back there, I can't remember if there is room to slide down.. I don't think so.. but even if you put a plate near the top, it might work.....
