the pump works by you pumping the handle up and down fast enough to gain some suction and draw the water from the ice box so dont think a few pumps and water will come gushing out. might take a bit...

Had similar issue with mine. not sure if it was the piston or that the unit was cocked. Sprayed wd, worked it for a while, and worked better but wound up replacing it with one from West Marine.

Thanks. I used the butyl tape to reset my fixed windows which I replaced with tinted plexi. I bought it at the auto parts store and while it worked well I think I will look for the light grey next...
