Don't sweat the sun damage for awnings. If you're sewing it yourself which is a snap, just use polyester with nylon webbing for strength and call it good. All this talk about UV damage is just hype....

Thanks for the suggestion, Rockter. Unfortunately, that's not the cause. It's internal to the transmission which usually means $$$$$$! I'll change the oil and see how things go.
