Transporting over land..$$$$

Looking online at boats and one sees a deal of a lifetime and the only problem is that its on one coast and I'm on the other.... Anyone ever had the pleasure of buying a boat and moving it x/country?...

Sent an email off to edson. Waiting to hear back. It's quite an old pedastal. Pre needle bearing. It looks like the raymarine auto pilot drive motor was grounding out on the body of the aluminum...

So I went to remove my wheel to refinish the pedestal as the paint was showing age it seems as though the wheel was seized onto the wheel shaft. After a few wiggles the shaft actually snapped off....

Think I would leave the decks the light color. Deck has that stock teal kind of highlight. Best left alone as they look clean I think rather than paint all of the boat.;)

Dont be so cheap....Use the nice big fenders......replace when worn out....cheapest part of owning a boat if you ask me. Cant afford to but a fender? How are you going to afford to fix anything else...
