There are two primary reasons why we're putting them on Jo Beth:

1. Safety. They give us a strong point to lean against when working at the mast. Our control lines aren't led aft, so...

The pintle is bronze. Are you sure you have the correct zinc? I have a 34 and I believe the zinc for the pintle is the same as the 37. I'm pretty sure it's the T-20 size, if my memory is correct.
