Even big boats get wet FJ. A dingy is a good way to find out if the wife and daughter like sailing. Protecting them and yourself from getting wet "going over"...

Stan take photos. It's wheel steering right? the steering quadrant may also sit on top of the lower rudder tube to support it. Rudders are very low tech installs.
