It appear as though the company that provides our Chat feature recently updated their software and now one of their modules is being 'mis-classified' by Norton/Symantec and possible containing a virus. Until they have this resolved we have de-activaed chat. We've opened a support incident with Envolve and they will hopefully have this corrected soon.

I am 210 and routinely sail ours.
Recently had it out with myself and my two really tiny twenty something daughters.
Also, have been out with myself and just as big Brother in Law.
Have fun!

Re: Pre sail checklist
Not so much of a checklist as a routine.
Pretty much do the same thing every time on and off and it becomes second nature.
That is my list.

Re: Cal 25-2 Rigging
Approx 6.3 Knots.
Easy enough to calculate using known specifications. LWL of Cal 25-II = 22 Feet.
Hull Speed = (Sq Rt / LWL) x 1.34

First thing I would recommend before departing is a 30watt fixed Radio.
Your hand held is really only good for about 3-5 miles transmission.
With the type of cruising you are planning, a good vhf...

It is very simple to remove as well, but a pain to store.
Would not want to reduce anything while underway.
I know exactly what you...

It is very popular to blame a lot of the lower levels on the St Claire Dredging. I can't tell you how many times I have heard this. And yes, it has not helped.
My counter to this is the fact that...
