I have friends, delivery captains. Thay use ipad's for navigation and ais monitoring.
Until now they had more than 20 000 nm navigates on ipads.

Sailing practice Nov'12 Kavala, Greece
In November i took a 2 day sailing practice in Greece.
The weather was very nice, around 20 C, 10-15 kn wind, sunny.
Boat - 44' Bavaria.

North Aegean sail sept'12 - pics heavy
In the*beginning of Sept'12, i was on a fleet of 7 boats and 65 person at North Aegean. For 6 days we visited 3 islands and sail about 100 nm. Interesting weather from 0 to 30 kn wind.
