Re: towing vehicle choices

My 2010 F-150 does an excellent job of towing around my 26'er. no need for 4x4 as long as you have a little weight in the back over the tires if your pulling on slimy ramps. I am on a lake that...

Re: can your standing rigging be too big

My question still lingers. I went up in size by 1/16" from what was original to the boat. the old nicopress sleeve's have a date stamped on them of 76 and I'm very sure that they are original...

Re: Outboard - new or used?

the bang for your buck will be with the 2 stroke outboard. With how popular the 4 stroke outboards have become, 2 stroke motors are cheap and abundant. The only down side is mixing the oil

Don't have to be rich to sail

I consider myself middle class. That means my net household income is less than 100k for a family of 4. I feel I can afford to sail without straining my family's finances. My boat has cost me a...

Re: Looking for sailing destinations on Lake Erie

I was in the small boat harbor but I am moving this year over to the First Buffalo marina. It is the one right next to the coast guard station across from the navy ships in the buffalo river.
