Re: Core construction structures

I've done this, using something like the West System. I went from the bottom, for all the right reasons. I would caution anyone contemplating this as it's the more difficult path as gravity is...

Re: CATAMARAN DESIGN and BRIDEDECK CLEARANCE

Well, there's the 'rub', so to speak. Unless you've bought yourself a new America's Cup class catamaran, a catamaran sailor isn't going to be arguing his boat goes to weather better than a monohull. ...

Re: Boat stability

This isn't enough info. Heck, we don't even know if this boat is sloop rigged, or the mast height. How are we supposed to determine if she's tender? Was she designed as a 'round the buoys' race boat?...

Re: Need suggestions for a wheelchair accessible catamaran

Chris White boats have a step down Saloon which would be a challenge to ramp over. Here's a 55 that you can see this clearly

I have 2 iGM10s. A couple of years ago, I rebuilt my port engine. I can have this little Yanmar completely disconnected and sitting on my cockpit floor in an hour, using a cheap come-a-long dangling...

Re: Need off-topic password

OT - where you post the same point of view day in and day out while hoping for different results?

Yeah, I just gave up on it. Talking about sailing and boats is a lot more rewarding.

Re: No neutral gear

This is no longer debatable. Where owners have either a Yanmar or Volvo diesel, there is simply no choice. Both engine manufacturers will void engine warranties if the transmission is locked in gear...
