There's no reason why it wouldn't still be seaworthy if it has been looked after well. Anyway, I'm just trying to find out what happened to it, even if it ended up as firewood.

Yes, buying a boat is an option, but it's expensive, transporting it is a problem and I only need it for the summer because in October I'll go back to borrowing boats from my normal sailing club.
