One of the bolts had sheered around the Rudder...

Tiller/Rudder Shaft Leakage

When under power today, water was coming out the cockpit to rudder-shaft base under the tiller. :eek: The drains in the back were enough to keep up with this, and it greatly lessened (almost none)...

BTW, the Newport 27 manual was very helpfull Thuesday when we were cleaining it up. It took me an embarasingly long time to find the master switch, but I got it started up.
