The boat's fantastic. Very stable, very fast tack to tack, extremely comfortable for adults to sail which means it will be super for kids.

It is average in terms of speed, she won't plane (at...

And just a quick note about me....sailed my whole life, owned many boats, raced, been a yacht broker etc....

My interest isn't in how to rig or sail the boat it is more outright curiosity. I've...

Re: Pearons 28 passes Beneteau 46

James what a lame, silly thing to post about sailing. Go back and read the post about the guy passing the corvette on the highway; and then read it again; and then read it again and then keep...

Re: Cape Cod on the outside

I have gone out and around many times. It was an issue a century ago but now, with boats that sail to weather, reliable weather forecasting and modern navigation it should be nothing more than just...

Re: What is proper dingy etiquette?

Bb assuming your boat in either on a mooring or at a slip you can and should leave your motor up. The motor does not want to be immersed in salt water for long periods of time.

Now, if your p 26...

Re: What is proper dingy etiquette?

I like the concept of leaving a note. Lets say you drove 2 hours down to your marina to do some spring prep, and forgot your ladder. You might be pretty upset. If you borrowed a ladder from...

Re: 1981 - Catalina 30' or Sabre 30'?

Make sure you catch it all: fri night...
