Re: Pearson 303 Stuffing Box Flax Size?

Re: Pearson 303 Stuffing Box Flax Size?

Thank you. That is a good idea to check the other pieces. I went to the store and 3/16 looks smaller so I purchased the 1/4 as it was the closest match. I will see if I can fit three rings in side...

Re: Replacing Corroded Mast Step

Peter

What did you use to cut the mast? Also, was anything done in the bilge area or do you just use longer screws to attach the plate? What type of screws? Do they make aluminum screws?

I have...

Any chance these pictures still exist? I have this very problem today.

Re: Pearson 303 Step Plate - where to buy?

Yeah that is what it looks like! I like the idea of raising it up out of the bilge water. My mast could lose about a 1/2 or so, but it is in good enough shape to leave as in and maybe cut in three...

Hello All

Re: Pearson 303

I just bought my Pearson 303 in August after an extensive 5 months of looking at Catalina 30s, Pearson 26,30, Sabre 28 and stumbled upon the 303 by accident. Ended up purchasing her 300 nautical...

Re: I like this Sabre 28 BUT.....

My thoughts exactly. Thanks. The wife wanted to put an offer in and these photos kept me up at night. If I decide to tackle a large project I'll need a bigger boat.

Re: Pearson 26 bulkhead delamination

Ok. No go. He put it on ebay and must have gone to scrap yard because it sold for twice my top bid. I found another Pearson 26 this time a one design that appears in better shape but I ran into a...

Pearson 26 bulkhead delamination

Was just about to close on a 1976 Pearson 26 even though I discovered it needed a new rudder shaft and bushings. However, what stopped me dead was when I lifted the port side settee cushions to...
