Re: Where to put boat on hard for summer in FL or Bahamas

Would prefer the bahamas, Fl as last result.

I have exp w/ Indiantown and would never go back there.
I've heard from several people about St Johns & St Mary's

We are thinking of leaving the boat in the Bahamas for the June-December period.

Or is it strongly suggested to put her in FL?

Need a place to do the usual 2-3 weeks maint every time we come...

Also bought the bundle accessories and the magnetic guide.

Now begins the work...

Re: Sewing machine corner

Is there a 'new' machine in the $300 dollar range that is ok for cruising? The intended use would be canvas (bimini, dodger, sail cover, etc.), re-doing the cushions both inside and out, & emergency...

Re: How long (reasonably) does a tank of CNG last?

Just an update.

We found that doing coffee in the morning (tea kettle), and a meal at night our tank lasted about 6 weeks.

We scored big time in Vero Beach on the way down the ditch and...

state lettering required?

We live in New England, the boat we just purchased is in Maryland on the hard, and we are going to splash in about a month.

We are going to use the boat in winters in the bahamas, and farther.

Re: How Far Do You Heel...?

My Triton flips over to just over 20, then locks solid (weather helm only affected by to much sail, not angle). I've been told that the long overhangs of the older boats tend to make a 20-23 heel...
