It appear as though the company that provides our Chat feature recently updated their software and now one of their modules is being 'mis-classified' by Norton/Symantec and possible containing a virus. Until they have this resolved we have de-activaed chat. We've opened a support incident with Envolve and they will hopefully have this corrected soon.

Re: Engine room sound-proofing
Soundown...was the choice. I did not use adhesive panels but "anchors" which the manufacturer sells. Each anchor is attached to the wall/calling with screws and epoxy adhesive.
It's still in the...

Good Luck...
I owned a 1970 Pearson 26 for 12 years on Buzzards Bay. I never considered what you are talking about as it was very cost effective to have a local yard launch the boat in the spring...

Engine room sound-proofing
I'm doing a major refit of my Morgan-462.
While I'm re-paining the walls and bilge in the engine room to get the new engine and genset into the boat, I have not given soundproofing much thought....

I agree, after closer inspection, it appears that just new handles and cleaning (for most part) is all that is required.

RH to LH prop rotation
I'm re-powering my Morgan 462. The original Perkins engines had a RH rotation. My replacement engine of choice is the Yanmar 4JH4_HTE which has a LH rotation.
Anyone see any issues with this???
