What you pulled was the fuel shut off. You need to stop the engine before turning off the key or you can fry the alternator.

The toggle switch is for a backlight, I think

Don't know about the ez poxy 2. For what it's worth, I just painted my topsides with the one part ez poxy and got very good results.

We just finished painting the topsides and decks on our 67 Pearson Wanderer. We rolled and tipped petit easypoxy. Everyone around the yard thought it looked great.
