Re: Bought the first sailboat!!

When we had to put new axles on our boat trailer, ended up at a trailer supply store. He told us they don't rate axles below 3,000 pounds, so it's called a 3k class, but not all axles actually hold...

Re: Best place to mount a Turkey Fryer on a boat

Does mounting a turkey fryer on the rails mean you're not a committed cruiser?

Re: living/sailing in the Tampa area?

Thanks for the links. I don't have to worry about a commute so we've got more leeway on where we live.

Spring Hill looks nice, with good prices, albeit with a sinkhole problem.

Re: living/sailing in the Tampa area?

living/sailing in the Tampa area?

O'Brien's in Annapolis now joins the "never again" on our list.

First the good:
1. The filet mignon and pan-seared stripped bass were good.

Re: Chesapeake Bay Eats

Had dinner at Harry Browne's in Annapolis the other night, it's on State Circle. Nice meal, didn't have that Sysco pre-packaged taste.

Not a cheap meal, but good.

Kind of what...
