Speed through the water measures your true performance, not over the ground. I'll bet if you were able to measure water speed during both tacks you would find that they are identical.

Does not matter where you are going or where you are. Remove those rose glasses. There is no absolutely safe place however try to enjoy where you are, where you are going and enjoy the journey.
