I do not have that gear. If your gear spins on the new motor shaft, use a chissel to tap some burrs on the shaft and that will make it hold.

I don't think Raymarine ever made a "beltless" wheelpilot. They used the MkII wheel with both the S1 & X5 computer & it has an internal belt.

Yes, you do need the later ST version with the clutch output.
I changed from the 4000 wheel pilot to a below deck and would not go back. Unlike the older wheelpilots, it is quiet!
