Re: New bottom paint blues

Drat. I truly liked the first third only opinion better.

Very hard to do sitting on a trailer with the 18 inch high eight foot long keel in a track. Centerboard is impossible.

Back third is...

Re: New bottom paint blues

Thanks. I'm sold on stopping the work now.

What do you think of the wisdom of front third only? I've been told that the rest is wasted work because the flow is turbulent there anyway. ...

Re: New bottom paint blues

Stumble,

Re: Replacing 5/16 genoa sheets

So many ideas, all appreciated. Concerning budget, I'll spend more money if I'm confident that I'll be able to see a noticeable difference in the hand comfort, and...

Re: Replacing 5/16 genoa sheets

How does XLS compare to MLX? I'm told MLX has much less stretch, but which is easier on the hands, grippier on the winch and cleats normally? Other ideas.
I do appreciate all the input.

Replacing 5/16 genoa sheets

I think I've settled on Samson Trophy Braid 3/8 for a genoa sheet replacement on our Precision 23. So many choices, so little time. I've spend a whole day studying specs and qualities of ropes, and...
